Art Spectrum Oil Primer is water-based, non-toxic, non-cracking and permanent. A versatile primer that blends a true linseed oil base with an acrylic resin. Offers excellent opacity, tooth and flow while protecting against bacteria and fungicides. Quick drying, lead-free and archival. It is perfect for canvas, wood panel, masonite and masonry. Apply as you would an acrylic gesso, with no prior priming required. This oil primer is also able to be thinned and washed up with water. Art Spectrum Oil Primer can be painted over as soon as the moisture has evaporated, usually the next day.Â
