Helmar Crystal Kote Retouch Varnish has been designed to give a temporary protection of oil paintings between coats and prior to final varnishing. An acid-free Damar resin spray allows you to obtain greater depth and definition in your oil painting. Spray Retouch is used for ground sizing, to isolate paint layers and to restore dried areas. It is intended for use with uncured paintings.Â
Allow one month’s drying of the coat to be protected before application. Helmar Crystal Kote Retouch produces a uniform wet appearance allowing accurate colour comparison and improves the adhesion of the subsequent layer of paint.
